Donations
The Guild of Service is a national voluntary developmental organization working with the mandate of empowering women, children and other marginalized groups since the last four decades. Our major interventions have been in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh and Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
At our shelter home in Vrindavan, Ma Dham, thousands of widows have been rehabilitated. The home offers holistic opportunities for development by providing food, clothing, shelter, vocational training, medical aid and counseling to the destitute widows. The home presently shelters about 120 widows, the majority of them being elderly and suffering from ailments that sometimes require constant medical attention.
The target of rehabilitating the widows of Vrindavan is an enormous one. Our home, Ma Dham, is a small beginning. You can care and share in this effort of giving a life of dignity to the 16,000 widows in Vrindavan.
Listed below are some expenditure guidelines:
- Donation to cover the holistic care of the Ma's including the shelter, food and nutrition, healthcare and medical needs, vocational trainings: Rs. 10,000 per month ($200 per month)
- Donations to cover the vocational trainings and literacy costs of the Ma's: Rs. 25,000 per year ($500 per year)
- Donations to cover the food and shelter expenses of the Ma's: Rs. 4500 per month ($90 per month)
- Donations to cover the costs of counseling, healthcare and medical needs of the Ma's: Rs. 25,000 per year ($500)

All monetary donations are exempt from tax under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act.
